2017 KIVU Summer

KIVU Summer Program 2

This is a fantastic combination of the typical summer at KIVU with the vision of the KIVU Gap Year as you will experience all of the adventures the Rockies hold and immerse yourself into the urban environment of downtown Denver.  Your time will begin with a week in Breckenridge rafting the Arkansas River, hiking a 14,000 foot mountain, mountain biking world famous trails, playing at Breckenridge Mountain and relaxing in the beauty of a small mountain town.

While in Breckenridge, you will be taken through a leadership training course that will prepare you be the leaders no matter what kind of relationships you find yourself in.  From there, you will head to Denver to see first hand what the KIVU Gap Year is like as you experience urban living with our Gap Year staff.

The dates are July 12-21 and the cost is $2,500*.  You can either fly into Denver where the KIVU staff will meet you or drive to Breckenridge on your own.  The price covers all lodging, food, leadership training and activities during your time both in Breckenridge and Denver. We are excited about adventuring in the mountains and the city with teenagers ages thirteen to eighteen.
